AMMONIA LIQUID TECHNICAL (GOST 6221-90)
Liquid ammonia - NH3 - is colorless mobile liquid. It is in gaseous form at the normal temperature and atmospheric pressure. Gaseous ammonia is referred to the fuel gases and liquid ammonia - to the difficult combustible matters. The product is of three grades:
"A" - is used for nitric acid production, for nitridation as a reprigerant to provide the protective atmospheres;
"Ак" - for export;
"B" - for fertilizer production and for its use in agriculture as nitrogen fertilizer.
The allowed value of water mass portion in liquid ammonia of grade Ак, transported in r/w tanks and of grade В is not less than 0,2% with bringing it to 0,2-0,4% at port plants.
Liquid ammonia is transported in special r/w tanks and tank trucks, in steel containers and in tankers.
Guaranteed storage life is one year from production date.
